December 13TH, 2011 Greetings on behalf of AACIC: Alumni Association of College Immaculée Conception of Gonaives, Inc. I salute you for keeping your commitments for the past twenty two years in helping the children in Gonaives , Haiti . As a not for profit Association, we have embraced an honorable cause, the cause of changing young lives and making a difference through education. Congratulations to all of you who have not wavered a bit in your determination to improve the lives of others.
As you already know, school has been in session in Haiti since October 4th, 2011; the leadership of AACIC has already informed the Director of College Immaculée Conception of Gonaives, Rev. Duchelande Saintilmé of our commitment to maintain our current agenda and program for the advancement of the youngsters who attended the College. Our goal is to continue supporting the College with the Scholarship Program, contributing in the food program for the children, providing medical supplies for the pharmacy, providing sporting goods and improving the infrastructure of CIC .
I am relying on your generosity to help in maintaining our program for the benefit of our Alma Mater. As you are preparing to celebrate the arriving of our Savior Jesus Christ, I am asking you as President to do your best to help the Association by forwarding your donation to the address listed above. Your contribution, no matter how small it is, will make a huge difference, and will be greatly appreciated. I thank you in anticipation of your positive response. Please find attached below the pictures of the new sanitary bloc of CIC inaugurated on Dec 8th, 2011. Again, with your help and little that we have, we were the first one to contribute in this important project because it was the right thing to do. This new infrastructure will allow the students to have access to a clean and decent place for their sanitary needs.
